At around 11:30 AM local time, a Kentucky State Police trooper attempted to pull over a vehicle near Blue Grass Airport in Fayette County. Following the attack, the suspect carjacked a vehicle approximately 10 miles from the airport and drove to Richmond Road Baptist Church. Law enforcement later tracked the stolen vehicle to the church grounds.
