FBISE Announces Matric Result 2025: 88.51% Pass Rate, Maryam Nadeem Tops Science Group

Army Public School student secures first position with 1093 marks

Islamabad: The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has officially announced the results for Class 9 and 10 (Matriculation) for the year 2025, with an impressive overall pass percentage of 88.51%.


📊 Key Highlights of the Results

A total of 284,037 students appeared in the matric exams this year. Maryam Nadeem, a student of Army Public School Westridge, secured the first position in the Science Group by scoring an outstanding 1093 marks.

Amna Nasir from Lahore Grammar School claimed the second position with 1087 marks, while the third position was shared by Saleha Saqib from Emalah Foundation School Misrial and Hania Iman Waheed from APS Attock, both obtaining 1083 marks.


📚 Humanities Group Toppers

In the Humanities Group, Sana Bibi from Shining Star School topped with 1045 marks. Abdul Rehman from the Institute of Islamic Studies took second place with 1029 marks, followed by Muhammad Sufyan Ahmed, also from the same institute, with 1022 marks.


🏫 Public School Performance Under Scrutiny

Interestingly, no student from any institution under the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) was able to secure a position in the top three of either group, raising concerns over the performance and quality of public education institutions in the federal capital.
