Dar Mobiles Robbery: Arrests Made, Victim Still Awaits Justice

Gujrat – A shocking robbery at Dar Mobiles, a well-known shop owned by businessman Mubashar Hussain Dar, has left the local business community in distress. Armed robbers looted approximately 1.5 million rupees in cash and five expensive mobile phones before fleeing the scene. While the police have arrested two suspects, the stolen items remain unrecovered.

CTD Steps In, Local Police Already Made Arrests

Following the incident, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Gujrat launched an immediate probe and traced the suspects to Wazirabad, where it was discovered that the local police had already detained two individuals in connection with the robbery. Footage of their arrests has been circulating on social media, sparking public interest and concern.

Victim’s Plea for Justice

In a press conference, Mubashar Hussain Dar expressed frustration over the lack of recovery of the stolen cash and items. “Our team acted swiftly and cooperated fully with law enforcement, but till now, we have received nothing back,” he said. He appealed directly to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and CTD officials to take immediate action and ensure full recovery of the stolen property.

Dar emphasized that the incident is not just a loss of money but a matter of reputation and business credibility.

Business Community on Edge

This robbery is among the most high-profile crimes in Gujrat in recent weeks and has heightened fears among local shopkeepers. While the Wazirabad police’s prompt arrests were commendable, business owners are now demanding complete justice and greater security for commercial areas.
