
Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar Urges Immediate Humanitarian Access to Gaza in Call with Iranian Counterpart
Islamabad, July 26, 2025 – Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, to discuss the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza, reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the two foreign ministers exchanged detailed views on the situation in Gaza. Both sides strongly advocated for immediate humanitarian access to the besieged Palestinian territory.
Foreign Minister Dar expressed Pakistan’s deep concern over the growing humanitarian challenges in Gaza and reiterated Islamabad’s firm solidarity with the Palestinian people.
He highlighted Pakistan’s expectations from the upcoming international conference on Palestine in New York, expressing hope for constructive outcomes aimed at relieving the suffering of Palestinians.
The two leaders also emphasized the urgent need to accelerate global efforts towards achieving a two-state solution, in accordance with international law and UN resolutions.
In addition, the ministers discussed prospects for a high-level exchange of visits between Pakistan and Iran in the near future, reinforcing their shared commitment to closer bilateral and regional cooperation.
